this may be due to the fact that i didn't grow up in australia,
but one of my favourite things to do in newcastle is go to moriset
& feed the kangaroos. so of course i had to take anni & oscar!
the house i used to live in got (and stil get) their bread from a bakery
every night so we had plenty to share.
they were a bit timid this time but they still wanted the bread
& our company (i like to think). oscar kept chasing them and
when he got close he'd start jumping up & down, pointing at
the kangaroos & saying "bounce! bounce! bounce!" it was
pretty cute. eventually he started chasing the magpies too!
ohhh little lion man.
