Girls Skate: Jess

When I was first in newcastle, on my dts, i staffed a Girl Skate

team with a program called Youth Street. It was a blaaaaast!!!

We had so much fun, tearin through the streets in the city,

coasting along the beach, and pulling all nighter skate seshs

at an indoor skate park. This is where i first met Jess, when

she was about 14. I hadn't seen her since i left Newcastle in

May 2010 and so much has gone on since then!!

She wasn't in a very good place earlier this year but she's

come along way and i'm so dang proud of her! She's going

back to youth street & even plans on doing a DTS next

year in Denver!! i was so happy to see her this time round

and it was so comforting to know that ywam was taking 

good care of her. she's a precious one & i love her guts!

and need i mention that we now share the same last name????
