tonight we had a dance party & it was so fun! and i finally learned how to cha-cha.

at least i think its the cha-cha. i tried to learn it three years ago at the daria family fiesta

but with little success. tonight tho, my cousins dimple & carlito and my auntie juling 

(pronounced hoo-ling) taught me!! i even got to turning! i think what is hard for me is 

that its all just memorising the movements. you don't necessarily follow the beat of the

song, which is what leads my feet (and hips and shoulders and hands and head.....) 

auntie juling said she is so proud of me, tatay pe'ing & tatay edo danced with me & gave me 

a thumbs up, and tonight dimple said 'ate zoe, you are champion pinay'. i could have

died. highest achievement so far.

i'm completely happy right now and i feel so privileged to be a daria.
