these books have been consuming my life as of late. i will
admit that the titles kept me from wanting to read them. when i
first saw them i thought it was another teen fad. wow, was i wrong.
if you aren't familiar with the books, they are translated from swedish
& apparently the original titles are a lot more poetic.

when i first started reading the books, i had to push through
the first chapters or so. and i was about to give up when i watched
the trailer for the movie. that is what really inspired me to keep reading.
i finished it on saturday & that night ev took me to see it at dendys.
it was amazing! just watch this opening sequence! its complete
genius. although i really loved this movie and really think you should
go see it too, i will warn you that there are some brutal scenes that
had me wincing & crying (a little bit) in my seat. so watch with
caution & don't expect to see a beautiful film that is comparative to
sunshine & rainbows. (as this opening sequence will set the tone.)
