Lava Hot Springs

this past weekend i went to lava hot springs with my family.

its this little town in idaho where my dad used to go every

summer when he was younger. i'd been there before with

my cousins when i was younger & so i had a lot of vague

memories. we didn't spend a lot of time in the town, more so

just driving around. i reckon its cos my dad doesn't get to

drive that often with his job & he doesn't get to see this kind

of countryside since he lives in the tropics. 

i really can't believe that it is june & its still freezing out.

there is still snow in the mountains! ..really not a fan.

we were all pretty starving when we got home so dad

took us out to sizzler...which, unfortunately, was closed so he

took us out to joe's crab shack! first time i've ever been!

mom & i split a lobster platter..thing while dad had his steak.

i feel so sad for people who are picky or whose stomach's

can't handle a bit of change. the world is full of so many

amazing flavours!!
